Dog food allergies, like food intolerance, are one of the most common hypersensitivity reactions that affect our furry friends.
However, it's important to note that there's a vast difference between these conditions. Understanding this would help you address your pet's discomfort easier.
Food intolerance is when a dog has difficulties digesting a particular ingredient like dairy. On the other hand, food allergies are usually hereditary (passed down from parents to puppies) but can also be caused by a reaction of the immune system to specific allergens found in dog food ingredients.
